Reflecting on a Meaningful Event at ZP schools in Wada Taluka on 24th February 2024.
We are still buzzing with excitement after our empowering session dedicated to underprivileged students of Nadagepada and Malipada ZP schools in Wada Taluka in celebration of World NGO Day! We dived into essential topics like good touch, personal boundaries, personal hygiene, oral health and knowledge about menstruation and puberty. Witnessing the students engage in role-playing scenarios and actively participate in the discussion, was truly inspiring. We also distributed dental care kits and sweet treats to brighten their smiles.
But that’s not all! We also hosted a poster-making competition on topics related to the event and the creativity and passion displayed by the students were truly inspiring. Congratulations to the winners, who received school bags as tokens of appreciation for their artwork and dedication. It was about more than just education; it was about fostering confidence, promoting well-being and creating a supportive community where every voice matters. We’re incredibly grateful to our donors, volunteers, trustees who contributed their time, resources and support to make this event possible. Your generosity has helped us create a safe space where these students could learn and grow. But our work doesn’t stop here! Together, let’s continue to advocate for education, empowerment and safety for such students. Every small step we take brings us closer to a brighter, more inclusive future.
